These are the unisex t-shirts that I like to use for embroidery.  They are a higher quality and I feel they work better for embroidery.  They come in many colors and sizes up to 5XL.  Size 4XL is only available in Ash, Black, Deep Navy, Deep Red, Light Steel, Navy and White.  Size 5XL shirts are available in Black, Light Steel and White.  Size 6XL are only available in white and black.

These are a cotton/rayon blend - styled with a slightly tapered fit for women but not tightly fitted.  To give you an idea of fit if you wear a size 10-12 I would suggest ordering a medium shirt.  Ladies style t-shirts can be used for designs without a lot of stitches as they are not a heavy shirt.

These sweatshirts are what I classify as   a lightweight sweatshirt.  I do not use the least expensive shirts as I feel you want a quality shirt for your embroidered items.  Lightweight shirts are 50/50 poly/cotton and come in a variety of colors and sizes up to 5XL. 

I use several different brands as not all colors are available in each.  These are pages showing various colors available. 

Jerzees   - Jerzee shirts are available in all colors listed up to size 3XL,  -size 4XL is available in True Navy, Oxford Gray and Black. 

Gildan - All colors shown available in sizes Small - 2XL,- 3XL available in White, Sport Gray, Red, Navy, Black and Ash Gray.

Fruit of the Loom - All colors shown available in sizes small - 3XL

Hanes - All Colors shown available in sizes Small - 3XL,- 4XL, 5XL available in White, Navy, Deep Navy, Light Steel, Black and Ash.

Heavyweight shirts are available in many colors up to size 6XL.  I use mostly Comfort Colors Brand Shirt,  a pre-shrunk 95% cotton, 5% polyester 11-ounce crew neck sweatshirt.  This link takes you to colors available in sizes up to 3XL that I am able to receive in a couple of days.  I can special orders shirts direct from the factory in all colors up to size 6XL.  Here is the link to the Comfort Colors Color Chart.  Please allow extra time for these shirts as they can take up to 10 days to receive after they are ordered.
